FEC Pellet Grill.....

I HAVE BEEN WAITING -WAITING-WAITING AND YES WAITING FOR THE SAME ANSWER.
SO I FINALLY CALLED COOKSHACK THEY DIDN'T HAVE A DEFINATE ANSWER BUT SAID IT COULD BE 6 MONTHS OR MORE.

Thanks Brad! Interestingly enough there is quite a bit of talk about it on another forum. Seems it would be talked about here as well. Looking forward to seeing one and what it will be priced at.

The reason it's not talked about is it's not a done deal and there are normal issues being worked in building a new item. As it took almost 18 months to get a new controller out, the discussion got heated about "why the delay, etc".

News will come out, when and IF there is news.

If you really need an update, there was a thread with an email you could get on the list OR

Keep calling them, let's them know there is interest.

I promise I wasn't trying to stir the pot or anything, just wanting information.

We heard that Eddy and Stuart would have one at the Lakeland cookoff ,later this month.

One of my fellow CBBQA members has a prototype grill. He used it in our last contest at Viejas. He took Grand Champion worth $7500.00. Nice unit.

Are Eddie and Stuart going to be at Lakeland for sure, if so I will go to see the new cooker?

What would be the best day to do so?

I just checked with Eddy and he says it on a truck on its way to Lakeland as we speak. Looking forward to seeing it. I may have to expand my back porch to fit another grill in.

Eddy isn't cooking the comp,and they may be making some business calls.

I'd guess they are hanging with Jerry[Smoke and Suds] at his bus.

Typically Friday afternoon/ evening are good times to socialize and look at rigs.

There is a lunch for the teams on Friday,but they may not be there,if they are working.

Hmm, just checked the web site for the event and see this - "The 2008 event will be open to the public on January 25th from 5-11pm, and on January 26th from 8am-5pm." Can anyone tell me if I will be able to access the area where Eddie will be Friday early afternoon as I'm driving over from Daytona specifically to see the new pellet grill?

You should be able to. I don't remember them charging for parking. So pull into the big lot and come on down. Stop by and say as I will be there cooking with Dr. BBQ as our Tom from the forum here and his lovely bride, Barbara.

Are there any new developments on this project? I love my AmeriQue so far but I also see another mini-Stick burner in my future as well.
