And I am very impressed. Was doing a turkey yesterday and prior to the iGrill2, I was using a Taylor remote which always did a good job.

But I am sold on the iGrill2, with two probes. I never really knew what my 055 was doing while it worked, other than a few spot checks from time to time. But with the iGrill2, I could see the flucuations and tell it was working properly. I had set 225 for a temp and it would cycle between 190 and 230 on a regular basis. Good enough for me.

As for the turkey, the graph of the increasing internal temp showed a nice even climb and it was possible that one could even predict when it would be done... save for the fact that the curve leveled out a bit as it reached closer to the temps that the 055 was showing. When that happened, I cranked the temp to 250 and made up for the slowing increase (got it?)

Anyway, (and I don't sell these things or have any stake) I would highly recommend the iGrill2 if the bluetooth range fits your needs. (I haven't tested the max range yet)

BTW, most stores, are out of the iGrill2 right now because the main distributor only stocks once a year... for some reason. Stores are saying 12 to 16 weeks for delivery until the next batch comes in. So Amazon is charging waay more than the $99 it usually costs due to (they say) the problems of bringing them into country. But I found one at kitchenandcompany.com for the normal price. They might be out now...
