I have an older FE-100 that was later upgraded to an IC controller. Everything worked great. It came time to change out the ignitor and in the process the high temp alarm won't reset. I noted when I did the IC Controller upgrade a couple years ago that with both temperature probes wires disconnected from the control board the alarm sounds and that after hooking them up it will reset and work fine.

Bill sent me out the newer model temperature probe and a new igniter but now the high temp alarm will not reset.

Have I missed something?

Is there a way to by pass it?

If you follow the black wire from your power cord, you should find the high limit switch.
As for the Warning Over Temp alarm, I suggest checking to make sure both wires are still hooked to the terminal block on the back of the control. If both wires are hooked up, give me a call (800) 423-0698 and I will get a temperature sensor headed your way.
