Hobart meat slicer help

I used to hear that the Hobart plant in Winchester,KY used to do rehab,etc.

I'd call them,and see what they can refer to.

You might google Hobart repairs,rehab etc.

There are a bunch out there.

I have contacted Hobart themselfs, they hooked me up with their office in Chicago, they could not or would not help me, I will try your suggestion, Thanks

I bought a brand new Hobart N50 commercial 5 QT mixer. I called to ask about registering my mixer for warranty service and Hobart told me that they only warrant the mixer to commercial businesses. I could not register my N50 for warranty repair, even though I bought it from one of their licensed dealers, because I was a non-commercial user.

That's something to think about. The other thing to think about is that if you are a non-commercial user of a Hobart commercial item, it's unlikely you'll need warranty coverage anyway. Not for a long time.

I liked the N50 so much I ended up buying another one.

Now I'd love to have a Hobart meat slicer.

Hobarts have the "knife sharpener/stone" that is built into the system, does yours not have this? It's a design of all Hobarts.

It's pretty easy to get a business tax ID #, then tell Hobart you're a caterer, how will they know?
