OK, after some serious challenges; cleaning and replacing ignitor, it appears to be working. Cooking a chicken and small butt 5-6 pounds. The ignitor was a challange, as I had to remove the old wire from the plug and replace with the new one. Smoke comes into the hopper and I'm hopping that want be to big of a problem. The controller setting and the reading on the controller don't match. I don't have a temp reader now, so I can't say for sure whats right. I think I'm going to get a tappeque, I figure I can always use it no matter what smoker/griller or whatever I get. Due to the age of the smoker and value, and my cooking style, I'm not going to upgrade to the ICQ-4 or 5. I've never had one, so I just keep cooking without one.
