OK, I called cookshack today. He suggested to check fuse. Changed fuse, but now the unit comes on and shuts down the circuit. Bought a heavy duty cord that shows light of power coming through, so here is the synopsis:

1. Unit comes, on goes to 90 then shuts off.
2. Fuse changed and action still occurs.
3. Plugged unit into different receptacles, receptacle blows and must be reset.
4. So, unit comes on, goes to 90 cuts off. Do you guys think it's the controller?

I thought it was a fairly light cleaning, but I you could be correct. So, here is what I did: I disconnected the purple wire from the controller and it stays on, and does not turn off or pop circuits. So I read on the forum that the purple wire is the ignitor wire. So I'm assuming that it is the ignitor thats bad? So, I just ordered an ignitor and a controller just to be safe. Just waiting on parts.
Most common cause is what Frank describes... Ignitor is bad.

Try disconnecting the purple ignitor wire and restarting. The fire wont start, but you can see if the circuit trips.

You will have to manually light the fire pot with a handful of pellets and a torch or some other method until you get a new ignitor if that proves to be the issue.
