I was experimenting with different flavours the other day and I cam up with this one, which I tried on some friends at a pool party and BBQ the other day, and they like it even better than I did I think. It goes just as well on pork as it does on chicken.

Micahs Finger Lickin Pork and Chicken Sauce

1 t. cayenne
 t. ground coriander
2 cups ketchup
1 t. onion flakes
1 can Coke
 cup light corn syrup
 cup cider vinegar
Zest of 1 orange
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
 t. ground cloves
1 t. ginger
 c. mustard
 t. cinnamon
1 cup raisins
 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. liquid smoke
 c. whiskey

Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and simmer until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Let the sauce cool and then mix in a blender to puree the raisins until the sauce reaches a uniform consistency.

I added a little heat to this one by adding a teaspoon or two of vinegar from some home-made pickled habanero peppers, but the flavour won't be affected if you skip this part.

G'day,

Micah Cool
