So my refrigerator died yesterday. Since it was pretty cold up here last night, I took all the freezer stuff and put it out on the table on my deck. New fridge gets delivered today, I load everything back in, but something isn't right, can't figure it out... After about 20 minutes I realize something made off with a left over brisket I had put outside!

Deer meat left behind, steaks, cornish hens, chuck roast, veggies. Just the cooked brisket was gone. And it was a good one too!

I'll tell you who I would blame if it happened to me. The coyote that I feed my scrape rib trimmings to last winter. I seen him dig them out of the 6 inches of snow, when I was starting a brisket before dark. That night I had ALL kinds of coyote tracks around the CS, but I guess he wasn't smart enough to open the door. I know they like briskets by how many tracks there were.

Did I tell ya, I live in town?
