I was wondering how hot the outside of Cookshack smokers should be, particularly the Amerique? I was under the impression that because of how well they are insulated, the outside of the sides, front and top don't get that hot. The reason I ask, is because my Amerique gets so hot on the outside, you wouldn't want to touch it. Just curious if this is normal. Thanks.

Is it in the sun when you are cooking, what temp do you cook at, I've had my amerique on for 20 hours at an internal of 225 and it just gets luke warm on the outside, just dont touch the vent holes. If you were in say Arizona during the summer and you werent even cooking it would be pretty hot exposed to the sun.
