Just before Christmas, I did some playing. While doing a load of smoked almonds, I threw in a basket of peanuts. They had potential.

Today I smoked a whole batch of peanuts (redskins), and then I put some in the VitaMix and made some peanut butter.

(Before smoking, I removed the skins)

One batch I tried this:

3 cups smoked peanuts
2 Tbsp coarsely chopped fresh rosemary

Processed in the Vita-Mix.

The results were very nice!

Well worth playing with (and probably improving upon). I'm thinking rosemary and garlic.
