I sent a message through the customer service page, and got a return email from the Cookshack CEO, thanking me for the heads up but saying he didn't think there was anything they could do about it. I guess it is just another negative consequence of their choice of a new blog platform when the old one was no longer supported. Apparently CS has little control over the features or even the formatting of the platform.
