I recently switched from Internet Explorer to FireFox. I like the extra features that FireFox offers, but am having a problem with FF and this forum.

When using IE, new posts were highlighted with a yellow light bulb while old posts showed a white light bulb. Now, with FF the yellow bulbs never go away and I can't tell what's new and what's old.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so, what's the solution?

Thanks for the help.

PS, I wish computers were as reliable as my 10 year old 08.

I use FireFox also and have been having a problem lately too. Everyday I use the "Find" function to check for posts that are "New Since Your Last Visit".

That worked really well until recently. Now when I use it, posts that I've seen two or three times show up and I have to weed through them all to find the new posts.
Hey Smokin', you da man. You not only know Qin' you know computin'. Your suggestion about the cookies was right on. After my last post I tried a whole bunch of different cookie settings and none made a difference. Finally I just deleted all cookies and started back from scratch. Bingo, that solved the problem.

When I installed FF I had it copy my cookies from IE. Big mistake. Apparently FF doesn't like the cookies from IE.... or something like that. Thanks for the help.

Were you able to correct? I'm having the same problem with Firefox.

Pags
Pags,
Yeah, worked like a charm. In the FF menu bar at the top of your FF browser go to tools/options/privacy/show cookies/remove all cookies. That'll do it, "garonteed." After you delete the cookies, all or your light bulbs and little houses will be white, but after repeated visits to the site you'll find that it'll be working as intended.

Let's give it up for Sokin' he sniffed this one out real good.
