I love the forum. I read it every day. I contribute most days. But, I'm ready to read something different than temp., time, type of wood...how about some barbecue jokes?!? You know, like "the three-legged pig." I KNOW y'all tell 'em all the time! I suppose we need to keep them pretty clean, which may eliminate half of them! But humor me, send your best. I'm looking for a laugh!

An aged farmer and his wife were leaning against the edge of their pig-pen when the old woman wistfully recalled that the next week would mark their golden wedding anniversary. 'Let's have a BBQ party, Homer,' she suggested. 'Let's kill a pig.'

The farmer scratched his grizzled head. 'Gee, Ethel,' he finally answered, 'I don't see why the pig should take the blame for something that happened fifty years ago.'
A pig and a chicken were walking by a church where a gala charity event was taking place. Getting caught up in the spirit, the pig suggested to the chicken that they each make a contribution.

"Great idea!" the chicken cried.

"Let's offer them ham and eggs?"

"Not so fast," said the pig testily. "For you, that's a contribution. For me, it's a total commitment."
A husband and his wife who have been married 20 years were doing some yard work. The man was working hard cleaning the BBQ grill while his wife was bending over, weeding flowers from the flower bed.

So the man says to his wife "Your rear end is almost as wide as this grill!" She ignores the remark.

Later that night while in bed, her husband starts to feel frisky. The wife calmly responds, "If you think I'm gonna fire up the grill for one little wiener, you are sadly mistaken
A man and his buddies were standing at a BBQ competition when his buddy was putting rub on a pork butt. All of a sudden he looked up and saw a funeral procession coming. He stopped and took off his hat and bowed his head and started praying. His friends were all amazed at him and said that is the nicest thing we have ever seen you do, you are so kind. The man replied, Well after 35 years I felt that was the least I could do for her.
