Has anyone tried this recipe from the new Cookshack cookbook (Still Smokin')?

I like the ingredients but I am confused as to the procedure.

Perhaps I am being too literal with the instructions, but I am confused by the steps after putting the marinated shrimp in the aluminum pan with the beer.

Instructions say to put the pan on the grill and grill shrimp 3 minutes on each side.

Isn't that just boiling them? If so, why do I need to use a grill? I could just as easily do that on the stove top.

Or should the shrimp go on the grill directly (out of the pan)?

Then it says to transfer the shrimp to the smoker for 30 minutes.

In the pan? Out of the pan?

Finally it says to whisk the butter and the Worcestershire into the pan drippings.

If I have had the pan on the grill previously for 6 minutes are there any drippings left?

Sorry to be a moron about this but I would really like to try this recipe without screwing it up.

Thanks.

Stephen
