If you wanted to add some chopped jalapeno's to the recipe, would the extra juice from the peppers require the addition of something else (meat/crackers)? Or would 4 or 5 peppers not make that much of a deal?

Also, what is a "pack" of crackers? This recipe looks too good, but I want to spice it up a little bit. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. I talked to Karen today reference her meatloaf recipe (I immediately got the impression she doesn't get a lot of calls about it). She was pleasant, and helpful. The packs of crackers refer to the standard packs in a box of saltines. As far a the jalapenos are concerned, just cut them up and add them to the mix (we agreed that it wasn't rocket science, although not far from it for me). So I will just add what I want and see how it turns out. I want to smoke them out of the pan like XROD showed in his meatloaf pics. And don't want it to be so moist that it won't hold together.
