Brand new Cabela's just opened down the road a bit from me, so I took the family on a trek there this past weekend. Took quite a while to get to the back of the store to catch the elevator to the second floor (we had a double-stroller) to head to the grill where I enjoyed a pretty decent bison brat! However, the best part was on the way to the tables.

I noticed a few Weber gas grills in boxes against the back wall...didn't think too much of it. Next to 'em, though, was the newer imitation Bandera. Brinkman makes it now, I guess... It wasn't until after I sat down that I looked up and saw 4 CookShacks - 2 Smokettes, 2 50s, 1 each black and stainless. Very cool...

After eating, I was able to poke around in that section for a little bit before being approached by an associate asking me if he could help. I ended up helping HIM sell a model 50 instead of a Bradley to a couple that was looking to buy.

I also picked up a new turkey fryer and a couple backs of smoke wood - maple and alder.

Anyone every try their store brand lump charcoal?
