Just got the 45 and was doing the initial smoke. Set the temperature, put in the wood and the water.

The oven display temperature did not go past 104 degree's but when I put in a thermometer it was 275 which was the set temperature.

I plugged in the meat probe and it read the outside air temp.

Confused and I have a brisket rubbed and waiting to go in the smoker tomorrow night?

Any ideas.
