I'm smoking Dakota (garlic) and Italian Sausage for dinner tonight. Used a couple chunks of hickory and hickory pellets since it's a relatively short smoke.

Noticed smoke coming from the Elite at 113*. I've got the element firmly touching the wood box, and I'm sure that has something to do with it.

Thought the early smoke was interesting.

When it's that hot here, you would be lucky to get a match to light let alone some pellets. We don't know what 104 degrees is unless the dew point is like 70.
