I just smoked my first batch of fish (came out good using 3men method). I decided to try making a dip / spread with some of it to bring to a holiday party. I basically followed a recipie I found on the Internet with a few substitutions. Once it's done and tested (tonight) I will post the (possibly revised) recipie.

The main ingredients were:

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese

  • 6-8oz Smoked Salmon

  • 3 Tbs Sour Cream

  • 2 Tbs Mayo

  • 3 Tbs chopped Jalepenos

  • dash cayenne

  • dash black pepper

I think that was about it, but I don't have it in front of me at the moment. Anyway, I'd be interested in anybody elses experiences with similar dips. If all goes well I'm going to make another batch tonight to bring with us tomorrow!

Looking forward to the report. Always good to have something to do with leftover Salmon..although, we've never had any leftover here Wink

Apologize for moving the post, but I try to keep recipes in the recipe forum. You'd posted this in the Owners Forum and we try to us that for Smoker Specific questions (operations and such). No worries, just part of my job to help. Puting them here keeps them for all to see when they're looking for recipes.
