Jeff;

After seeing your post I tried the mustard sauce. Have you tried Smokin's Vinegar Mop Sauce?, that is the reason I had never tried the mustard sauce. Both are really good. I made a smaller version of the mustard sauce. Here is a the reduced recipe.
1 Cup Mustard
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup honey
1/8 cup cider vinegar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne
Combine,boil,simmer, eat. Enjoy.
bombero,
no but next time i will for sure also i made the mustard sauce smaller then that the frist time then me and the girlfriend had like are 3rd one and i had the mustard sauce man it was good and the girlfriend had bbq sauce and took a bite of mine and said wow no more bbq sauce for me again so i made a new batch the same size as yours.
i would like to know how often do you mop with that one? when to start the mop and stop mopping. thanks jeff
Jeff;
I do not mop the butt at all, I dry rub it overnight, cook @ 225 until 195 - 200 internal. I use the mop sauce as a side, let people put on as much as they want. This has worked so good I never have had reason to mop while cooking. Try it, you will love the new bite it brings to pulled pork.
Think I found it. Is this the right one?
