I proudly purchased an Amerique in December. Stand, cover, SS grates. Figured if I was going to do it, do it right. Love it. Well it's not fair comparing deals on USED gear (and the inherent risk of buying used) with new prices. I'm a guitar player, love me my guitars. Should I feel it's not fair that some buddy of mine on a guitar collector BB scored a '59 Les Paul for $1000.00 from some old lady whose son left it in it's case under the bed when he went off to 'Nam in '68. No... It just happens every once in a while. New is new. Used is used, though witha Cookshack used is a subjective term because they are so simple and sturdy and just doggone well built. Never owned something with such fit and finish.
