Last week(with the aid of frigid weather) I decided to defrost a chest freezer. Discovered a small vacpac of pulled pork dated 4/09. It was from the maiden cook on my 020. It looked fine so I thawed and sampled. Excellent - still on par or better than I can get in most local NC BBQ joints.

I'm constantly amazed by the results this amatuer Q cook gets from this oven! Hat tips to CS for a great design and also to the shared experience of Q cooks on this site. Cool

I wished I had kept a little of my 1st PB. You know, like how a person keeps the top of a wedding cake. The problem is there is never enough meat to last long enough to freeze.It could be I like to smoke more often with little loads. It makes for MORE enjoyable days that way.

I'm going to have to get vacpac sealer later. I'm sure that I can't keep eating like this all the time or I'll have to buy clothes. That was never mentioned when I did research on my cs020.
