Sorry, new smokette owner and this question may have been reviewed to death here already, but not with me. I realize the bottom rack is the hottest because it is closest to the heat source.

So which other rack is best to cook on for smaller pieces of meat, like ribs? Top or middle? Do some of you always cook on one or the other if there is an option? And if so, which one and why?

Aren't sundays great! A little cooking, a little beer, a little football, hopefully a little nudity! Awesome!!

Oh yeah, by the way, go STILLERS!!!

I usually cook on the middle shelf of my Amerique because the heat will be hottest at the bottom by the heating element and at the top where the heat rises to.As far as ribs go, I really like using the rib hooks, just cut the racks in two and hang with the longest bones at the top. Good luck!!
