Replies sorted oldest to newest

I'd say my favorites are almonds and pecans. They are always easy to find raw in bulk quantities. But I've also smoked chick peas. Any nut that you can find raw in bulk quanties should work tho'. There are too many to list but you can start with:
Pecans
Almonds
Peanuts
Brazil nuts
Walnuts
Cashews
Hazelnuts (filberts)
Pistachios
Macadamia

Most mixed nuts are already roasted and salted. I prefer the raw nuts so I can control the amount of salt.
