Where's Smokin', any thoughts?

I noticed MIA. Sometimes he gets busy at work. Could be year end stuff.

He said the whole clan was together for Christmas. Bet he's taking some time with the family...and praying the forum doesn't turn into a clustercake while he's away

Hey. When the cat's away, the mice will play. How about breaking out our old crock pot recipes to share with each other. Nothing like crock pot brisket! Sounds like something Tom would like.

How about par boiling some ribs? Mmmmmmm. Mmmmmmm. Good.

What about cooking to time? It ain't done till it ain't done.

Any other thoughts on barbecue bible ediquette?

Hopefully some well deserved time off!!

All is acceptable if liquid smoke is involved.

Well now that the McRib is back I guess there is no sense in learning anymore :-)

Yep,think as he is corp project manager of himself,he will be trying to wrap end of quarter/month,year.

He isn't prone to take too much slack time,and remember he is also now in the teaching/chef/organizing business.

I have a buddy who refuses to buy a smoker. He brines his PBs and adds liquid smoke to the brine.

Well now, I've had a few days to think about what has happened to Smokin'.Yep, this usually gets me in trouble, if you ask my wife, but I've come to the conclusion that Smokin' has decide that Oklahomia is not a big enough state for him and Butcher BBQ, since David has been earning the "180's" in brisket.

He's gotta be looking for a new home in another state, yep Smokin', there's plenty of room in Colorado! LOL!

I don't know. Smokin Coloradian just doesn't have the same ring.

You're right Pags! I think David is on the West Coast cooking this weekend, maybe Smokin' could get home early and pack David up, move him to Colorado, before he gets home. That a least would be a shorter drive home for David.

Oh well, I'm starting to miss Smokin'!

I was here, reading and moderating, but no posting. Took some holiday time to an undisclosed location.

My thread count didn't increase, so I'll have to get to work on that right away...
