I thought I needed to share this with everyone. A couple weeks ago I was moving my two smokers (FEC100 and Amerique) so that I could put a 2nd coat of stain on my deck. My Amerique SM066 has the Cookshack Storage Cart (which I LOVE). When moving the Amerique off the deck onto the patio one side of the storage cart wheels folded under and the unit collapsed. In the process of turning it over to figure out what happened the other side collapsed. At this point and many $&@*&!!, it looked like the rails on the bottom of the cart where the wheels attached had been welded on one side and attached with DOUBLE STICK TAPE on the other. I have had the cart almost 2 years so I did not think it would be covered, but I called Cookshack anyway. I called and was sent to Customer Service rep Bill Dice at Cookshack, I got his voice mail and left a message. Within 15 minutes or so he called me back and was VERY NICE. We discussed what had happened and he said "yeah that was an experiment that did not work out". He then told me no problem let me send you a new one. No credit card needed, he shipped me new cart and then when I got the new one installed, I boxed up the old one and he had UPS pick it up. WOW, is that customer service or what!!!! Now if I can only convince myself to pull the trigger on the Charbroiler that I want SOOOO much....... Big Grin

BTW, when turning your smoker over on its side.... REMEMBER to drain the drip pan first............... Eeker Roll Eyes Red Face

Bill is really great. When I was trying to refurbish the used SM008 it was Bill I worked with. When I was shopping to get a bigger used rig it was BILL I talked to so I knew (say for instance) a SM205 was essentially a SM250.

Bill if you are reading this THANK YOU. Love the SM150 I got and been slowly getting accessories from COOKSHACK for it. Hardly ever cook inside any more. LOL

It read like a good, CS feedback story until that last line.

Then I lost it, laughed out loud because I've SEEN that happen.

It WAS NOT a pretty sight, basically adding insult to injury at the time. After SEVERAL choice expletives, half a roll of paper towels, plenty of spray cleaner, and a half hour later..... Roll Eyes

At least now after the great dealings with Cookshack, i can laugh at myself. I think I WILL remember the drain pan now! Wink
