I think the warranty is actually two years, and CS has replaced two parts on my Amerique without even asking for proof of purchase!

The last time I called after hours on a Friday and left a message on their voicemail, then almost fell over when they called me back within ten minutes!

Customer Service doesn't get much better than that!
