The way I understand the salt high blood pressure thing is like this. It's not the salt you add to food while cooking fresh food. It's the processed food that contain all the sodium.....
Look at canned soup and boxed breakfast meals, they are all loaded with sodium......So is fast food from the chain restaurants.
Like Smokin say's, you won't get that much salt from a rub, especially if you make a rub yourself. Don't eat fast food, or processed food and you'll be waaaay ahead of most people......
I only use Kosher salt, I don't use table salt anymore......too salty and it taste terrible!!!
