Seafood Grill

Good afternoon all! I am a new 009 owner, and as many have done I read this forum for a few weeks before making my decision, best decision I've ever made. I have a question regarding the seafood grill; my wife has just informed me that salmon is on sale and she would like to have some smoked, can I get away with using the racks that came with my 009 until I can order the seafood grill, or should I hold off until my order arrives. Thank you for your help!
