Well, when I get a few moments today, I'll write up a report, but I DID want to take a moment and share my son's success.

He placed 1st in the Backyard blind judging, out of 25 teams, beating 2nd by 9 pts.

Below you will see his entry in the backyard division of last weekend's ABA Cook-off in Brainerd. He did all of the work himself, from trimming and skinning the ribs to rub to creating his own finishing sauce.

I can't tell you how proud it made me as a Dad to see all the Pro's like DrBBQ and Jumpin'Jim and Fast Eddy and others come up to him and congratulate him. He's quite a young man and I hope he has more success in the future. All this did was make him more excited and ready for the next contest.

Congrats Kyle, you're Dad is very, very proud.

Enjoy his success with me.

Good to meet you too DrB enjoyed the visit and good luck with the business.

Shot 3 or 4 over on the front 9 and I think it was 2 over on the back, I wasn't keeping the score card. Little out of practice and my putts were off (missed about 4 or 5 birdie putts), but a real pretty part of the country and a pretty course. Played with the Extreme Pork team, great bunch of guys.
hahahaha. Then I won't tell you how many Holes-in-Ones I have nor will I tell you about the Hole-in-One on a Par 4, 310 yard hole...

My theory of golf, go out have fun and the score is the score. I've played with lots of golfers with higher scores and we still have a great time...maybe it's the Adult Beverages we drink on the course, or we just plain have fun.
