We picked up two 12 something pound portk butts, and I am curious if it makes a difference to cut them into 2 smaller 6lb pieces, or does it make no difference, and just go ahead and cook as a whole?
This is in my new AmeriQue which after seasoning turned out a great 5.5lb butt for pulled port with a great bark, and we are ready to make some bigger servings to vacuum pack and freeze away and/or share with others.
