I used my Amerique yesterday to smoke up some bacon.
I discovered that at around 150 deg, the oven went into hold mode (it was set to get to 225).
I had to power off to reset it, and it happened again.
Has anyone else had this issue? Am I looking at a computer board fault?

In most cases when the AmeriQue goes into hold early it is caused from a meat probe jack issue. If the jack has corrosion or moisture it will think there is a probe plugged in. The control is programed to read hi in case of a probe malfunction which causes it to go to hold. I would check your probe connection at the board and where the wires are soldered to the jack to make sure they are clean and dry. If it gives you anymore issues give Cookshack a call.
