Hey everyone..I seem having some problems with my auger today. It is -4celsius up here. My key pad has froze up again..but that is not the problem. I had set my temp at 300degrees. I had to manually start the cooker as I am still having igniter problems.I had to go out for a few minutes.WhenI returned 1.25hrs later the temp was at 226degrees. I opened her up and hit the reset button and the auger started working again.
y concern is that at this time I am in the middle of a cook and I need to keep the heat up.I watched the pellet drop for few minutes and saw that only 1-2-or 3 pellets dropped at a time. Is That the normal rate??or does that sound low to you. I put a handful of pellets in at the reset time to give it a boost. It has taken 40minutes to reach 300degrees. It has now been maintaining the temp for the past 30minutes so I think that I will make it.But any suggestions on what I can do with the auger to make it work better.Rob
