Hello all, I picked up my fe100 today and as I write it is in season mode. I do have a question though. The book that came with it mentions an "igniter switch". Is this the thermostat control? If so, how and when does the ignition occur. As per the instructions, I ran it for 10 minutes, shut it off and then switced it off/on and let go for 4 min. nothing fired off. I ended up using the alcohol gel to get it going. What am I missing?
Thanks in advance
Joe

Sorry to jump in so soon after i received my cooker. It has only been a week or so but i had to ask the same question The best way to explain it is to start with a brand new cooker. It will take 6 mins for the auger to bring the pellets to the fire box. Now the ignitor wll try to start the pellets in 4 mins from the time you turn the unit on but seeing as the pellets have not reached to fire box it can not light. Therefore you must now turn the unit off & wait for another 4 mins for it to reset. Now the firebox has ample pellets inside that when it lights again it will stay lite from that point on.

Hope this info is close to the right answer & it helps you.

Earl
