Baking with grill

Has anyone used the FE grill for baking items. If so how did it turn out?

You "can" bake but I don't figure I don't want my baked stuff tasting like smoke.

I do pizzas strombolis and calzones all the time all over 500 so you could bake if u want

We have "baked" shepard's pie and brownies in the FEC at 350° with very little, if any, smoke taste so I'm thinking the FEPC will work just as well if not better. When we get ours we will try it out. I plan to try one of my wife's cheescakes, hopefully soon.
