Has anyone heard of an online "smoke-cooking master BBQ cooking school" that goes for about $300, and is supposed to be about 8 week or so long? They also have a book called "Barbeque and Sausage-Making Secrets." (I think) I saw something about it in the new Bullsheet, and just wondered if anyone knew anything about it...Thanks guys..

I have just enrolled in the Culinary Institute of smoke cooking and learned about it in the BullSheet of KSBS newsletter. I have taken the first lesson and it is a home correspondent course and is designed to go from the very beginning to the more sophisticated cooking in 8 lessons. I have learned alto so far but I am just a beginner.

I have a Klose 20X 36 pit with offset firebox.The Culinary Institue of smoke cooking course is very good and not so easy to complete. They start from the very beginning like shopping for meat and meat selection to learning about your fire and the basic to the more complicated. there are 8 lessons that are associated with a written test to see if you have read the chapters in their book- Secrets of smoke cooking. I am on the 2 second lesson and hopeI finish it in the year time that I have to complete it. Hope this helps
