Blindog was reserve on an FE.

We won anything butt and were 6th overall.

There were a number of FE's,I'll have to fill you in when we read our sheets and get back to Fl.

Midnight Whiskey Smokers got several calls on their FE's.

Thanks for Smokin' Okie's help and Stuart's influence for rushing our newest FEC to us a couple days before the cook.

We broke it in,loaded it up,and drove .

It worked like a dream.

Congrats John, Tom, Craig, and to Bill and Nina.. Where did Craig place on his pork and chicken? I am assuming it was pretty close to top ten since you were in the top 10 overall..

Chicken was 32nd (trust me when I say it was better than that) and pork was 11th.

Thanks Russ and Kevin. It is nice to see that we can compete with the big dogs consistently if we put our minds to it.

BTW, I think Jiggy Piggy and EJ's BBQ were also cooking on FEC's.

Thanks Kevin, I don't know what happened in the chicken and pork. I didn't think the chicken was 32nd but someone did. I will be working on that this week. I was still trying to get use to this new smoker so I will blame it on that for now LOL. It was a good contest except all the trains at night. Every 15min you hear a horn blow for 30secs. Other than that Troy did a good job. There where alot of big hitters there.

I would have to agree that she gives ya'll class Tom... Congrats again.. And Craig, you can't blame the cooker, just you on the cooker ;-)

I cooked butts and briskets yesterday on my FEC for the second time, and they were as good as any I have cooked on the Lang. Chicken was better than any I have cooked on the Lang, the first time I tried it. So, going to give it a try this weekend at the FunCook..

The thing to worry about, for most folks,would be after staying up all night with that Lang and being all bleary eyed-your judgement might be off,rested.

Bad part for us,you were great with that Lang.

Maybe we'll get Clayton ,or a rock band, next to you,to even out our chances.

Great to have you and Clara,to add a little more style to the pelletheads.

There are those of us,that owe you a tip or two.

Owe him what tips?? He does not need any tips from us. Ok maybe one!I use Kraft Honey on my Pork and Chicken oh yeah and the HomeBBQ.com rub. Yeah I think your right Kevin the cooker did cook great this weekend. I just like to have alittle more grease in it and it will cook just fine.

I'll certainly take a tip or 2 (some real ones Craig ). We will see if the judges agree with me, they usually don't. I may have alot of work to do.
