Well, I have a selfish interest in this since I work for Cookshack, but our Spicy Barbecue Sauce is bold and spicy. (It's my Mom's recipe so if you don't like it, keep it to yourself. LOL) We sell a dry mix which you can make according to the recipe that is included with it, or make up your own recipe. We have lots of cusotmers who make up their own recipe or add their own special ingredients. I have heard of people adding Dr. Pepper, wine, hot sauce, hot peppers, and pineapple juice.

I think a small jar is about $5 + shipping.

Just a suggestion.

Donna,

I tried to call you to get some more information on this sauce mix April 11th and you would have thought that talking to you would have been a breach of National Security. I asked for you to the lady who answered the phone and her response was, "Who are you?" "Why are you calling" "She's not at this number." Kinda weird that a customer wants to talk to the person who recommended something to them and Cookshack personnel act funny like that. Strange!!

Jeremy,

I am so sorry. You may call me anytime on my cell phone, 405.361.2196. I live in Norman, OK, about 100 miles from our factory and offices in Ponca City. I am one of the owners and I work part time, so I am not actually in the "swing of things" at the office in PC. They are kind of protective of me, but I will speak to them about this kind of behavior. I know they want to be nice to customers, but sometimes get carried away where I am concerned. If you want to order sauce, then you would call them at 1-800-423-0698 because I don't have any way to take orders, but if you just want to ask questions or talk about sauce ideas, please feel free to call me.

Again, I am sorry for the off-putting experience.

KCAL, that's great. Thanks for the compliment. Barbecue sauce is a very personal and subjective thing, I believe. That's why everyone says that theirs is the best. Cookshack's Spicy sauce is my mother's recipe, so I grew up on it and I think it's great. Fortunately for Cookshack, so do lots of other people. It's typical of Texas style tomato based sauces with a bit of spiciness. Big Grin

We have lots of customers who order it by the case so they can keep some and give some as gifts. When my son was younger I always gave his teachers a bottle at Christmas.

I guess this is starting to sound like a sales pitch so I had better stop. Smiler

Donna
