Bought another smoker

Well, my 008 was such a fine smoker and I have learned so much from it in the past 20 months or so... I just HAD to buy another one. So I just bought a SM050. Needed the extra room for some feeds Im planning this summer. Buying another CS product wasnt a tough decision at all. It was deciding which one I needed at this point in time.

Congrats Cadillac! funny you mention this...I am going through the same mental process. Do I get another 09 or a 050? The 09 would add xtra room and versitility. The 050 is a good unit as well.

I "WISH" I had bought the 50. Sure, the 008 does the job 90% of the time, but it sure stinks when you can't get the space you need.

Originally I thought I would get rid of my 008 and have several standing offers to purchase it. Its just too handy... too dependable... to think about getting rid of. We take it camping and love the attention it creates when the smoke aroma waifs around the campground! For the arrival of the 050... Ive got a fresh 20 lb ham waiting to smoke plus 20 lbs of maple bacon & 12 lbs of canadian bacon curing.

Well I'll have to send photo's.. cause that will be the cleanest you folks will ever see it! hehe I just got the advance teaser... er.. notice. The unit shipped and should be delivered Thursday. I better clean up the stand, and move the 008 off for now.

All right! Just as promised, my new 050 arrived today via UPS. Unpacked it and cant wait to season it tonite. It looks so... new and shiny too!
