Just got back from Cabela's with my new stainless steel Smokette. It's seasoning as I type this post. However...IT'S TOO SMALL. Despite my outstanding sales presentation to my wife, my cajones proved a bit small when it came to asking for the Model 55. (She saw no real reason for buying a smoker to go with the Holland and Weber grills we already own. It was a tough sell.) As a "Que connisseur" new to CS but an ole hand with the pevious mentioned, I really and truly can't wait for our first butt! The little cheif smoker that I forgot to mention will go to my neighbor. At any rate, besides Q, I love to drink and doggonnit i think I'm ramblin on my very 1st post. good bye

You'll love the CS, I'll let others speak up on your possible path forward for trading up to the 055. Enjoy your butt, I'm doing my first this weekend as well. Have done plenty of other things so far, all have come out well. You will not regret the purchase. I've seen posts in the forum of folks getting 6 butts in the 009, thinking they could have done 9. Also, "the fuller the better", may cooker quicker with a full load.
