So the wife and i decided that we are going to get rid of our deck and do a patio with a built in kitchen and what not. I have the FE1000 but the wife has given me the ok to get possibly a 24 or 36" cookshack charbroiler and an FEC100. My question is this overkill for a back yard kitchen? THe FE1000 does everything i need but the idea that i am doing this once and wife said it was ok possibly getting the other two. I would be getting rid of the FE1000 if i went the charbroiler and 100 route? any other suggestions? Has anyone seen a FE100 as a built in? thanks

I'm putting 2 FEC's, an FEPG and a charbroiller on my new deck.

If someone says it's overkill, then so be it.

For you, look at how much and of what type you want. The CB is a direct, hot, grill. The FEPG is a blended grill that can smoke also. The FEC is a smoker.

Each has their use, really depends on what you're cooking and how much.
