It was another good weekend for pelletheads!
Steven Krauss, Regal BBQ, FE class '05 took GC and we (FE class '04) took Reserve.
I think we need a BBQ stat like an RBI. WCT (Winning Cooks Taught) for teachers like FE and Dr. BBQ.
It was hot, the outside temp was around mid 90's. We could have cooked our meat on the blacktop. The temp inside the trailer when I was doing turn in's was around 109. No worries about things getting cold.
Cabela's runs a good contest. The only mistake they made was to award a Bradley Smoker as the first place prize in the Wild Game category. Steven won that too. He said he was going to call Stuart and see if they'd swap it for a 150.
