Kind of raining and cold this morning in Oregon. Had to get out there and clean up the mess from my Thursday night butt cook. I put all the racks, side parks and deflector plate in a large tub with simple green overnight. I thought of breaking out my pressure washer but didn't really want to hookup the hose, make a mess in the driveway etc. Threw the parts and tub in the pu and headed to local car wash. Man, pressure and hot water at their place is only way to go. For two bucks this was the deal of the day. Everything is shiny and ready to go. I am heating up the FE a little so the inside grease will wipe away a little easier. Then two layers of foil on deflector pan, a little foil over the baffle above the pellet fire box, two layers on floor, two layers in removeable pan and maybe a little on the side and back.
Need to great ready for brisket testing in a couple of weeks.
