How long can a person hold chicken to maintain proper temps? I need to cook 250 chicken quarters ..ie a whole chicken cut into 4 pieces? Cooking on a fec100 and it will be for dinner at 7pm

Where are you going to put all those birds? I cooked 24 chickens that had been sectioned (breast, thighs, etc) and completely filled all four racks.
A good quality 120 qt cooler,or cambros ,packed full,should hold at least six hrs,with that volume.
Probably more,if you put them in hot,keep all closed up tight.

I have 7 racks in my cooker. Going to cook at a high temp so I can get them all done within a 6 hr time frame. Great thing about the FEC100, 325 and your good to go. Thanks for the info
