Prior to going on vacation I mentioned in the just joined the party thread I was going to smoke for my cousin and her husband's event in their vineyard on August 14.
Here is alittle recap...
I smoked 10 PB and 12 racks of BB. Thank you all for the info you share. I've smoked ribs probably 6 or 7 times since I "joined the party".I've been practicing the "tooth pick" method of doneness and hit them great.I was talking with one guy telling him I was just starting and doing this for pratice and he stated "I think you have this part down." I heard one other couple as they were walking away,"these rIbs are better than so and so's. can't remember who they said ,but it felt good. Didn't make near enough the apple juice based serving sauce for the PB Smokin' has posted on the pork 101 thread.after I told everyone what was in it 90 percent went with that rather than bbq sauce. The Jack Daniels and lemon water had me pretty chatty,the weather was great,and a good time was had by all.
They say smoking is bad for you... who are they?
