Hello, I have seen on some posts where people are cooking their butts in stages of times and temps.
EG: 2 hours at 140º then 2 hours at 180º and then the remainder of the cook at 225º,
My question is: do you have to reset the time/temp at the end of each stage or can you programme the cooker with those perameters right from the onset of the cook?
I`m picking up my new FEC-100 on Friday and would like to get a cook in by the end of the weekend.
Thanks very much.

Two ways.

This is for an IQ4.

1. Just walk over, hold down the temp button on the left and change it as you need to.

2. For two different temps (say overnight). Put your starting temp, say 180 in and set the time for the duration, say 3 hours. Then, set the hold temp to your final temp say 250. When the smoke hits 3 hours, it will HOLD at 250 until you turn it off.
