Cooking time for 2lb rib rack

I would start checking around 4 hrs and every 30 min after that by using tooth pick type probe by poking into the thickest part of meat between ribs after 4 hr mark.  If it goes in like butter it is done.  Be sure to keep notes.

What gque said. Maybe start testing at 3.5 hours.

I will let you know how it turns out.  4 hours is too long, 3.5 hrs perhaps.   We use the toothpick test.  Thx for responding 👍

Heard back from my son.  Decided to check at 2hours, then kept for another 45 minutes before removing, foil,towel wrap, then cooler.   As is our practice we take out when needed and then char on charcoal grill.    The ribs were very good, off the bone, and not at all dried out.   He will not make same mistake with small bb ribs.    Thanks for your help
