John Shiflet, Cookshack's National Sales Manager, has over 40 years experience in the restaurant industry, and over 21 years experience helping restaurant owners and chefs successfully add barbecue and smoked foods to the menu. He operated a chain of Sirloin Stockade restaurants before he joined Cookshack as our National Sales Manager in 1985. John has cooked for large crowds, and he is familiar with every kind of barbecue equipment on the market.

Ed "Fast Eddy" Maurin, creator of the Fast Eddy's by Cookshack line of 100% wood burning smokers and rotisserie pits, is a veteran contest winner with dozens of trophies to his name. He has made television appearances as a competitor on shows such as OLN's "All-Star BBQ Showdown". He invented the Fast Eddy's smokers to serve an unmet need in the barbecue industry, and joined with Cookshack in the manufacturing and marketing of the 100% wood pellet fired ovens in late 2003. Maurin has owned a barbecue restaurant and regularly consults with barbecue restaurateurs around the country.
