I've been making jerky out of London Broil for the past 10 years or so on my NESCO dehydrator. I use the Nesco seasonings and make it as a dry rub. I don't use soy sauce or any other liquid. I will add cayanne pepper and crushed red peppers for a list more kick. I recently started selling the jerky and I am looking for a more economical dry rub. I make about 150# of jerky at a time and it can get a little expensive to use the Nesco seasonings all the time. The dry rubs are $20 for 25 packs and I have to believe there is a cheaper recipe out there. Does anyone have a good dry rub recipe that I can make at home using store purchased spices instead of having to order the Nesco pre-mixed spices? I don't want to start doing a liquid marinade if at all possible. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
