Ok i am having a crazy time finding a metal pipe for exhaust, i bought a 90 degree 5 inch and just doesn't fit it is exactly same size as the piece coming off the Fec100.

can anyone tell me what you bought and where?

Also i have seen the 6 inch flexible hose and adjustable ring to hold it on, would this work? as flexiable would be great.

use some tin snips and make one or two cuts along the long axis of your el. Should be able to fit it on then. Secure it with a large hose clamp

I got mine from Lowes. 5" elbow and yes it is very tight going on but it will work. I found it in the HVAC section of the store. It is the adjustable angle one. Size is not adjustable so it was pretty tough to get it on. Hope it works out for you.
